ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

The listed entertainment, hospitality and leisure operator Amalgamated Holdings Limited (“AHL”) today announced that, following the retirement of Mr Tony Clark AM on 25[th] October 2013, the Board has appointed Mr Peter Coates AO to the position of Lead Independent Director. Mr Coates has been an independent non-executive director of AHL since 2009.

Mr David Grant, an independent non-executive director of AHL since July 2013, has been appointed to the Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee and will Chair the Audit Committee. Mr Coates, who has been a member of both Committees, will Chair the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
