ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

The listed entertainment, hospitality and leisure operator Amalgamated Holdings Limited (“AHL”) today announced the appointment of Ms Valerie Davies FAICD as an independent nonexecutive director.

Ms Davies is a prominent businesswoman based in Western Australia, a past winner of the WA Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Award and the principal of One.2.One Communications Pty Limited, a consultancy firm that specialises in strategic communication and issues management. She is currently a director of HBF Health Limited and The Youth Focus Foundation Pty Limited and has previously served on the Boards of Iluka Resources Limited and Tourism Australia.

AHL Chairman, Mr Alan Rydge commented: “It is pleasing to appoint a director based in Western Australia and a person who has a proven track record across a range of communication activities, having worked with many of Australia's leading companies. Ms Davies is a valuable addition to the AHL Board”.
