EnBW does not give the go-ahead for the sale of the existing shares of EVN
EVN takes necessary steps to implement the capital increase in a new
structure

Upon closing of the order book this afternoon there is an substantial
over-subscription of EVN (new shares out of the 10% capital increase and
the existing shares held by EnBW) within the price range at a price of EUR
10.50 per share.
Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has informed EVN AG that they do not approve
such sale. Hence, EVN has decided to take necessary steps to implement a
capital increase of up to 10% in a new structure.
