Europris - Third quarter 2015 results
[Fredrikstad, 12 November 2015]: Europris (OSE: EPR) continued to outperform the
market in the third quarter, with a like-for-like sales growth of 2.9 per cent,
compared with 1.9 per cent for the market. So far in 2015, the like-for like
sales growth is 5.0 per cent, well above the market of 2.1 per cent.
Total revenues for the third quarter 2015 came to NOK 1,135 million, up 7.6 per
cent from NOK 1,054 million in the third quarter 2014. EBITDA grew by 8.1 per
cent to NOK 122 million (NOK 113), corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 10.7 per
cent (10.7 per cent). Net profit for the third quarter amounted to NOK 75
million, an increase of 99 per cent, compared with NOK 38 million for the
corresponding quarter in 2014.
Following the summer season, the key priority areas have been wide stocktaking,
extensive sales training and thorough preparations for the peak Christmas season
in the fourth quarter, as well as close follow-up to realise Europris' growth
potential through new store openings. Europris opened two new stores in the
third quarter, bringing the number of stores in the chain to 227.

quarter. Europris is responding actively to changing market conditions, and we
are following our growth path in a successful way.

the year, and our performance so far in 2015 brings resilience into the peak
season, says CEO Pål Wibe.
Total revenues for the first nine months 2015 increased by 8.7 per cent to NOK
3,220 million, compared with NOK 2,961 million for the same period last year.
EBITDA increased by 21.8 per cent to 357 million (excluding IPO cost), compared
with NOK 293 million for the same period last year.
