ERG e Quercus sospendono la costituzione della joint venture ERG Q Solar 1 non più attuale per entrambi. Si valuteranno insieme altre opportunità.
Genova, 6 marzo 2019 - A seguito della recente acquisizione di due impianti fotovoltaici per un totale di Euro 221 milioni (vedi CS del 12/2/2019), ERG ha già raggiunto nel solare in Italia i propri obiettivi del Piano Industriale 2018 – 2022, pertanto la priorità dell'M&A sarà da oggi rivolta all'eolico all'estero. Le parti hanno comunemente rivisto gli accordi (vedi CS del 3/8/2018) lasciando comunque aperta la possibilità di valutare eventualmente altre forme di collaborazione in futuro.
"Una partnership con lo scopo di perseguire il piano di investimento nel medio termine che ci siamo prefissati è anche funzione di un impegno minimo di capitale. Quercus vuole investire ancora molto nel prossimo triennio nel solare italiano in autonomia o con dei partner. Abbiamo lavorato molto bene con il team di ERG nel 2018 e sono certo si presenteranno altre opportunità di collaborazione in futuro, magari nell'eolico o in Europa", commenta Diego Biasi, Co-fondatore e CEO di Quercus.
"Con l'acquisizione di Andromeda abbiamo raggiunto anticipatamente, e con una redditività superiore, gli obiettivi previsti a Piano con riferimento allo sviluppo in Italia del fotovoltaico. Oggi le priorità del gruppo sono il Repowering in Italia e lo sviluppo organico all'estero entrambi nel settore eolico, obiettivi importanti che andranno ad assorbire le risorse finanziarie previste a Piano. ERG and Quercus suspend incorporation of the ERG Q Solar 1 joint venture considered no longer relevant for either party. They will jointly evaluate other opportunities.
Genoa, 6 March 2019 - Following the recent acquisition of two photovoltaic plants for the total amount of 221 million Euro (see PR 12/2/2019), ERG has already fulfilled its solar power objectives as envisaged in the 2018 – 2022 Business Plan and consequently M&A priorities will now be directed towards overseas wind power. The parties have mutually revised the agreements (see PR 3/8/2018), without however excluding the potential evaluation of other forms of cooperation in the future.
"A partnership intended to pursue the medium-term investment plan we are aiming at is also based on a minimum capital commitment. Quercus still proposes to invest heavily during the next three years in Italian solar power both independently and with partners. We have worked extremely well with the ERG team in 2018 and I am certain that there will be other opportunities for cooperation in the future, maybe in the wind sector or in Europe", comments Diego Biasi, Co-founder and CEO of Quercus.
