ERG Renew cresce ulteriormente nel mercato eolico francese
Acquistati sei parchi eolici per una potenza complessiva di 63,4 MW
Genova, 17 giugno 2015 – ERG Renew ha sottoscritto un accordo per l'acquisizione da Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund, gestito dal gruppo Macquarie, del 100% del capitale di quattro società di diritto francese titolari, direttamente e indirettamente, di sei parchi eolici in Francia, con una capacità totale installata di 63,4 MW, entrati in esercizio tra il 2005 e il 2008. I parchi presentano una produzione annua media attesa di circa 150 GWh, pari a oltre 2.300 ore equivalenti.
Il valore dell'acquisizione è di circa 72 milioni di Euro in termini di enterprise value, il closing è previsto entro la fine di luglio 2015.
L'acquisizione consente ad ERG Renew di consolidare la propria posizione nel mercato eolico francese raddoppiando la potenza installata da 64 MW a 127 MW, oltre a rappresentare un ulteriore passaggio nella strategia di diversificazione geografica e di internazionalizzazione della società. Questa operazione, considerando anche gli 80 MW in costruzione in Polonia che entreranno in esercizio nel corso dell'anno, permetterà di portare la potenza installata al di fuori dei confini nazionali a circa il 27% dell'intero portafoglio (395 MW).

ERG Renew takes a further step in the French wind market by acquiring six wind farms with a total installed capacity of 63.4 MW
Genoa, 17 June 2015 – ERG Renew has signed an agreement for the acquisition of a 100% equity interest in four French companies ultimately owned by Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund, which is managed by the Macquarie group. These companies directly or indirectly own six wind farms in France, with a total installed capacity of 63.4 MW, which entered into operation between 2005 and 2008. The wind farms' annual average output is estimated at around 150 GWh, corresponding to approximately 2,300 equivalent hours.
The value of the acquisition, in terms of enterprise value, is approximately 72 million Euro. The closing transaction is scheduled to complete by the end of July 2015.
The acquisition, which allows ERG Renew to consolidate its position in the French wind market, doubling its installed capacity from 64 MW to 127 MW, also represents a further step forward in the company's geographical diversification and internationalisation strategy. Furthermore this transaction, also considering the 80 MW under construction in Poland, scheduled to come on stream during the course of the year, will enable the installed capacity outside of Italy to reach around 27% of the entire portfolio (395 MW).
