TRADING HALT

The securities of Environmental Clean Tecnologies Limited (the "Company") will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 7 August 2007 or when the announcement is released to the market.

As discussed, Environmental Clean Technologies Limited, hereby requests a Trading Halt, pending the release of an Announcement in relation to the Company raising funds by means of the issue of Convertible Notes.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

The Trading Halt is requested for 2 trading days - with trade to commence again on Tuesday, 7 August 2007.

The event that is expected to happen to end the Trading Halt will be an Announcement in relation to completion of a Convertible Notes raising by the Company.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the Trading Halt should not be granted.
