Key Operations & Engineering Appointment

Environmental Clean Technologies Limited ( ASX: ECT ) (" ECT " or "the Company ") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Tranfield, a highly experienced technical and operational leader, as the new Operations and Engineering Manager. With an extensive background spanning 18 years, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector, John brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ECT as the company pursues the commercialisation of its technology suite to deliver low and zero-emission solutions across a range of sectors.

ECT Managing Director Sam Rizzo commented:

John's experience is exactly what we need right now, with over two decades across multiple engineering, petroleum, and service industries. John has a proven track record in delivering projects, making efficiency improvements, and optimising and managing the ongoing challenges of day-to-day operations."

In his most recent role, John served as Lead Engineer/Supervisor for Exxon Mobil in Offshore Bass Strait & PNG for the past four years. His responsibilities included operational management, health & safety oversight, cost control, contractor management, and coordination. Before Exxon, John held pivotal roles as the General Manager and Operations Manager at OCS Group, overseeing global operations in Australia, the US, South America, and Africa. His leadership led to strategic transformational change, increased engagement, revenues, and customer satisfaction.

ECTs focus on commercialisation, optimisation and downstream processing of Syngas to valuable decarbonised energy, enables John to bring his experience and training to deliver projects and accelerate the growth of the company.

Mr Tranfield commented:
