ECT PREPARES FOR THE FUTURE

2 May 2008 : Chief Executive Appointment

The Board of Directors of Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX:ESI) has appointed Kos Galtos as Chief Executive to lead the company into its next exciting phase of development.

Dave Woodall, Chairman of ECT, advised Kos that he was very enthusiastic about working with a Chief Executive who had proved himself as Commercialisation Manager bringing the Coldry technology to commercialisation from what was simply a great idea.

“Kos has captured the interest of the market place with thoughtful strategic planning backed by demonstrable financial models that have attracted global partners to ECT to enable production of Coldry,” he said.

Kos Galtos committed to realising the full potential of ECT and said; “I look forward to building upon the strong commercial base established over the last year and enabling our organisation to exploit the significant market opportunities of this emerging environmentally responsible age.”

Acknowledging that he will complete his year long contract as Managing Director on 14[th] May, the Board thanked Con Galtos for successfully completing his charter to implement good governance principles and practices into ECT. Mr Galtos has accepted the Board’s invitation to remain as a non-executive director in the short-term, ensuring effective transfer of the corporate memory and a smooth transition to the new management team.

Director Appointment

Dr Dennis Brockenshire OAM has today accepted appointment as a non-executive director of ECT. Dr Brockenshire has a PhD in Technology as well as an MBA and a Commerce degree and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Institute of Engineers Australia. He has more than 35 years experience in senior management positions including 13 years as Managing Director of Barwon Water, and 15 years experience in the power industry.

The ECT Board warmly welcomes Dr Brockenshire and sees great opportunities opening for him to steer the utilisation of the water produced from the Coldry process along with the benefits his vast experience brings.
