The Shareholder

Dear Shareholder,

It gives me great pleasure to write to you about the many latest developments at Environmental Clean Technologies.

Firstly, our new Chief Executive Officer, Kos Galtos, officially took over the reins on 2 May 2008 and will lead the company into its next exciting phase of development.

As many of you already know, Kos joined the company as Commercial Development Manager in early 2007 after spending 12 years in senior management roles in the UK. With an international track record in turning vision into a deliverable, profitable, value proposition for partners, he is committed to enabling the company to exploit the many significant market opportunities that exist at this time.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Dennis Brockenshire OAM has accepted appointment as a non-executive director of the company.

Dr Brockenshire holds a Doctor of Technology Degree, an MBA and a Commerce degree. He also has formal qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering, is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has more than 35 years experience in senior management positions. This includes 13 years as Managing Director of Barwon Water, and 20 years experience in the power industry.

Con Galtos completed his year-long contract as Managing Director on 14 May and has accepted the Board’s invitation to remain as a non-executive director. This will ensure an effective transfer of corporate memory and a smooth transition for the new management team.

We have been busy establishing alliances with several notable specialists to assist us in delivering the Coldry technology to the market. These globally recognised specialists include:

Deloitte – engaged to develop a Coldry Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) model based on GRD Minproc +30% plant feasibility estimates.

Arup – appointed as our global engineering and design partner, they will deliver a bankable feasibility by July 2008 that will include design, documentation and engineering support for the roll-out of Coldry production plants.

McConnell Dowell – This world-class engineering, construction and maintenance company will provide us with a GMP construction contract.

Phillip Capital – have been appointed as our primary advisors for Acquisition of Debt and Equity Finance. They have managed a placement of 12.8 million shares to investors raising $640,000, to date.

We have established the Coldry Value Proposition and business cases have been provided to local power stations with supporting documentation. As a result, Australian brown coal power stations are positively engaged and interest has been shown from other Lignite and SubBituminous miners both locally and internationally.

Through our strategic alliances with global partners, we intend to conclude negotiations for the construction of the first 150,000 tonnes per year Coldry production plant in the La Trobe Valley by the end of 2008. Designed by Arup, the plant will have the capacity to rapidly and efficiently scale up to 2.5 million tonnes per annum (t.p.a.) and eventually up to 10 million t.p.a..

It is indeed an extremely busy and exciting time for us all and I look forward to communicating our progress to you over the coming months.

To this end, we are streamlining our systems to ensure you can receive information as quickly as possible. Our plan is to introduce a monthly e mail to all shareholders about what has been happening during the preceding weeks and what is projected to happen. If you are interested in receiving this communication please send your e mail address to [email protected]

Your email address will only be used for communications by ECT Ltd and will not be passed to outside parties. If you wish to remove yourself from the list simply reply with the subject “Remove from list”.

For those of you who do not wish to receive such regular mail, we will contact you quarterly via Australia Post.

In closing, I thank you for your strong support in the past and look forward to an even stronger future with you.
