NEW MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT

The Chairman of Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX:ESI), Mr Murray d'Almeida, today announced a further management change following the appointment of Mr Con Galtos as Managing Director of the Company, as announced to the ASX on 14 May 2007.

"I am pleased to advise that, effective today Mr Bruce Paterson has been appointed as Company Secretary of Environmental Clean Technologies Limited and its subsidiaries. Originally a steel maker with BHP at Port Kembla, NSW, Bruce subsequently qualified as a lawyer and spent over 15 years with Newcrest Mining in a range of senior management roles. including Company Secretary and Commercial Manager, International. For the past 10 years he has provided his substantial secretarial, legal and commercial experience on a consultancy basis, primarily in the mineral resources and energy sectors, both throughout Australia and internationally."

Mr Galtos said:

"Bruce has joined us both to increase the depth and experience of the management team and to support the Board with its ever increasing compliance and corporate governance responsibilities.

Mr Sean Henbury has provided excellent service to the Company as both CFO and Company Secretary, but with him being Perth based, a move of the Company Secretarial function to Melbourne at this stage of commercialisation of the Company's technologies, is appropriate, particularly in light of Bruce's depth and breadth of secretarial and commercial experience that is highly relevant to our business going forward.
