Appointment of new Company Secretary
The Board of Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX Code: ESI) has accepted, with regret, the resignation of Mr Bruce Paterson from the position of Company Secretary.
Mr Con Galtos, Managing Director of ESI said:
"Mr Paterson's skills and experience have been of great assistance to the Company, at the time of the transfer of the Company's head office from Perth to Melbourne.
It is unfortunate that Bruce's continuing business development role with a leading law firm, together with his major responsibilities for a new minerals exploration IPO, have made it too difficult for him to provide Environmental Clean Technologies with the time and commitment that is required on a continuing basis.
I thank Bruce for his assistance, cooperation and friendship and I appreciate his offer to continue to assist the Company in an informal way with his mineral resources industry contacts should that help progress the Commercialisation of the Company's unique Coldry process.
The Board has appointed Ms Jan Macpherson to replace Mr Bruce Paterson. I welcome Ms Macpherson and I know that her qualifications and experience will be of great value to the Company in the new Commercialisation stage that we have entered.
Jan Macpherson is a legal practitioner and chartered secretary with over 25 years experience working in government, corporate and private enterprises. Jan was formerly the Group Manager of the Legal Department at WMC Resources Limited during her 10 years service with that major listed resource company.
Jan chaired the national Social Practice Taskforce for the Minerals Council of Australia for several years and the Victorian Resource, Energy and Environmental Law Committee in the Business Law section of the Law Council of Australia until 2006.
As a qualified chartered secretary, Jan holds the appointments of Company Secretary for listed VoIP company Freshtel Holdings Limited and the Freshtel Group, Greening Australia (Vic) Ltd and is Company Secretary and General Counsel for listed web search and on-line advertising company Ansearch Limited and the Ansearch Group, as well as the explosives service company Global Seismic Solutions Pty Ltd."
