RESULTS OF ITS ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

Calgary, Alberta - June 21, 2024 - Southern Energy Corp. ("Southern" or the "Company") (TSXV:SOU) (AIM:SOUC) (OTCQX:SOUTF) is pleased to announce that at the annual general and special meeting (the "Annual Meeting") held on June 20, 2024, all of the nominees listed in the Company's management information circular dated May 6, 2024 (the "Information Circular"), were elected as directors of the Company until the next Annual Meeting of shareholders or until their successors are elected or appointed.
