ENEL INFORMS THE MARKET ON ELETROPAULO
Rome, March 23rd, 2018 – In response to recent media reports and a Material Fact Release issued by the Brazilian electricity operator Eletropaulo Metropolitana Eletricidade de São Paulo S.A. ("Eletropaulo"), Enel S.p.A. ("Enel") confirms that its subsidiary Enel Brasil S.A. has sent a proposal to Eletropaulo concerning its potential participation in a possible capital increase which is being analyzed by the latter. Discussions are only preliminary at this stage and, should they progress, Enel will update the market accordingly.
