Extension to SPP Closing Date
Enegex Limited (ASX: ENX) advises that the closing date of its Share Purchase Plan (SPP) has been extended until 5:00pm (AEDT) on Friday 28 January 2022.
The board has determined to extend the Closing Date of the SPP having regard to mail delays (including due to COVID-19) resulting in eligible shareholders having received SPP materials later than anticipated and the upcoming holiday period.
The decision to extend the Closing Date is consistent with the commitment of Enegex to facilitate eligible shareholder participation in the SPP.
The SPP provides eligible shareholders with an opportunity to subscribe for up to $30,000 of new shares in Enegex at an issue price of $0.08 per share, together with a free unlisted option, exerciseable at $0.14 on or before 30 June 2024, on the basis of one option granted for every share issued.
The Company’s Chairman, Mr Geoff Albers, has indicated that he and various private entitles with which he is involved will subscribe for a minimum aggregate of $210,000. ($30,000 in his own right and a minimum aggregate of $180,000 via private entities with which he is involved).
An extract of the timetable for the SPP that was included in the booklet dated 1 December 2021 with amendments to the dates impacted by the extension of the Closing Date is set out below:
