The Management Board of ENEA S.A. ("Company") hereby reports that on 7January 2021 the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting adopted aresolution by the power of which Ms. Dorota Szymanek was appointed tothe ENEA S.A. Supervisory Board of the 10th term of office.
Below the Company provides information on the education, qualificationsand positions held previously by the new Supervisory Board Member alongwith a description of his professional career.
Ms. Dorota Szymanek graduated from the Faculty of Canon and Secular Lawof the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She also completedpostgraduate studies in real estate valuation at the Warsaw Universityof Technology. In 2009, she was entered in the list of legal counselskept by the Regional Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw.
She has extensive professional experience in the field of financial law.In 1998-2006, she worked in the Department of Indirect Taxes at theMinistry of Finance. In 2006-2009, she served as a counsel for theOffice of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland. Since 2009, shehas worked for the National Bank of Poland - initially as DeputyDirector of the Legal Department, and since 2016 as Director of theLegal Department.
Since 2010, she has been a member of the Legal Committee at the EuropeanCentral Bank. Since 2016, she has served as Vice-Chairwoman of theSupervisory Board of the Central Securities Depository (Krajowy DepozytPapierów Wartościowych S.A.). She has conducted numerous trainingcourses for statutory auditors and accountants in the fields of tax lawand financial law. She has participated in a number of domestic andinternational training courses and conferences (Federal Reserve Bank inNew York, Federal Reserve Board, World Bank, International Swaps andDerivatives Association) in the fields of financial law and trading infinancial instruments and securities.
