TRADING HALT

The securities of Emmerson Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 9 October 2017, or when the announcement is released to the market.

- Emmerson Resources Limited (ERM) Request for trading halt under Listing Rule 17.1

Emmerson Resources Limited (Emmerson) requests an immediate trading halt in respect of its securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, we advise that:

• (a) Emmerson is seeking the trading halt pending the making of an announcement to the market in relation to a capital raising;

• (b) Emmerson is seeking the trading halt to assist in maintaining an orderly market in the trading of the company’s securities and managing its disclosure obligations;

• (c) Emmerson requests the trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Monday 9 October 2017 or Emmerson making an announcement to the market concerning the capital raising; and

• (d) Emmerson is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
