The Company would like to disclose that - upon the request of the Chairman and approval of the Board of Directors and their diligence to comply with the provisions of article (7) (b) of the Governance Code applicable to public joint stock companies attached to the decision of the Chairman of the Securities and Commodities Authority number 3/RM of 2020 which prohibits combining the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and any executive position in the Company - it was resolved that H.E. Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Founder of Emaar, be devoted to the executive management matters and the day to day affairs of Emaar. In this context, the Board resolved at its meeting dated 17 December 2020 that H.E. Mohamed Ali Alabbar shall continue as an Executive Board Member, and to elect Mr. Adnan Kazim as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr as Vice-Chairman.
بناءً على طلب رئيس مجلس تود الشركة أن تفصح عن أنهاإلدارة وموافقة المجلس وحرصهم على اإلمتثال بأحكام المادة ) (ب) من دليل حوكمة الشركات المساهمة العامة( رقم7 /ر.م) لسنة( المرفق بقرار رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة رقم3 2020 والتي تحظر الجمع بين منصب رئيس مجلس اإلدارة تقرر أن يتفرغ رئيس مجلسوأي وظيفة تنفيذية بالشركة - اإلدارة ومؤسس إعمار سعادة/ محمد علي العبار ألمور اإلدارة ،التنفيذية والمتابعة اليومية لشئون الشركة. وفي هذا اإلطار ديسمبر قرر مجلس اإلدارة في اجتماعه المنعقد بتاريخ17 عضو م جلس أن يستمر سعادة/ محمد علي العبا ك ر2020 ًرئيساإدارة تنفيذي في ا /لشركة، وإنتخاب السيد عدنان كاظم لمجلس اإلدارة والدكتورة/ عائشة بنت بطي بن بشر نائباً لرئيس
