Elisa Corporation (ELISA) has received the following notice in accordance with
Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Market Act:

According to the notification, the direct share ownership of Elisa Corporation
shares owned by BlackRock, Inc. and its funds decreased on 14 July 2016 below
five (5) per cent of Elisa Corporation’s entire stock while total ownership
directly or through financial instruments remains above 5 per cent.

Total number of Elisa shares is 167,335,073 and each share carries one voting
right.
