Elisa Corporation (ELISA) has received the following notice in accordance with
Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Market Act:

According to the notification, the direct share ownership of Elisa Corporation
shares owned by BlackRock, Inc. and its funds decreased on 2 November 2016
below five (5) per cent of Elisa Corporation’s entire stock while total
ownership directly or through financial instruments remains above 5 per cent.

Total number of Elisa shares is 167,335,073 and each share carries one voting
right.
