Elders Limited (ASX: ELD) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Elders Limited (‘ELD’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of ELD, pending it releasing an announcement regarding a proposed acquisition and the outcome of the institutional component of the accelerated entitlement offer. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 19 November 2024.

ELDERS LIMITED (ASX: ELD) – REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Elders Limited ACN 004 336 636 (ASX: ELD) ( Company ) requests an immediate trading halt in respect of the Company's securities from the commencement of trading today, Monday, 18 November 2024.

For the purposes of ASX listing rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

• (a) the Company is seeking the trading halt pending an announcement in relation to a proposed acquisition and an associated proposed capital raising by way of accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer;

• (b) the Company requests that the trading halt last until the earlier of commencement of trading on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 and the Company releasing a subsequent announcement in respect of completion of the institutional component of the proposed capital raising;

• (c) the Company anticipates that the trading halt will cease on it making the subsequent announcement regarding completion of the institutional component of the proposed capital raising;

• (d) the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

• (e) the Company is not aware of any further information which needs to be disclosed to the market at the time of seeking the trading halt.
