TRADING HALT

The securities of Elders Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 15 September 2014 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Trading Halt Request

Elders Limited (ASX: ELD) (Elders) requests an immediate trading halt as it proposes to announce a capital raising and is currently undertaking a bookbuild for the capital raising.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Elders provides the following further information:

• (a) Elders expects that the trading halt will remain in place until the commencement of trading on Monday, 15 September 2014, unless before that time Elders requests that the trading halt be lifted; and

• (b) Elders is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
