Non-Executive Director Appointment

Elders Limited (ASX:ELD) advises that it has appointed Raelene Murphy as a non-executive Director. Ms Murphy joined the Board with effect from late yesterday, having established her fitness and propriety to act as a director of Elders.

Ms Murphy has strong non-executive director experience in the Australian listed company environment, across a range of industry sectors. Her current ASX non-executive director roles are at Bega Cheese Limited, Integral Diagnostics Limited and Altium Limited. Ms Murphy was also previously a non-executive director of Clean Seas Seafood Limited, Service Stream Limited and Tassal Group Limited and has extensive executive experience.

Chair, Ian Wilton, said ‘we are delighted to welcome Raelene to our Board, her executive career and non-executive director experience will complement the skills of our current Board.

Raelene brings further diversity of background, skills and experience to Elders’ Board and her appointment results in 60% of our non-executive directors (50% of all directors) being women.’

Ms Murphy holds a Bachelor of Business from University of Ballarat, is an Institute of Chartered Accountants Fellow and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms Murphy is passionate about Elders having spent her early years in country Victoria and has a keen interest in Ag-tech.

She is a resident of Victoria and the Board considers her to be an independent non-executive director.
