Non-Executive Director Appointment

Elders Limited (ASX:ELD) advises that it has appointed an additional non-executive director, Ms Robyn Clubb. Ms Clubb joins the Board of Elders with effect from today having established her fitness and propriety to act as a director of Elders.

Chairman Hutch Ranck said Ms Clubb brings extensive experience in the agriculture and financial services sectors to the Elders Board.

“Robyn’s skill set and experiences complement and enhance the already significant relevant skills present on the Board while providing different perspectives obtained from her executive and director career and from running her own business,” Mr Ranck said.

“Her appointment will be significant in the continuation of Elders’ already evident turnaround. As a Board we are confident that Robyn has the skills and experience to be an essential contributor to the next phase of the Company’s development and growth,” he said.

Robyn is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Finance & Securities Institute of Australia, with senior executive experience of over twenty years in the financial services industry, working for organisations including AMP Limited, and Citibank Limited.

Since 2004 she has held a range of non-executive directorships with a focus on the agribusiness sector. Robyn is a beef producer, and until recently a stonefruit grower, in South Eastern NSW. She is currently Chair of the Rice Marketing Board for the State of NSW, a non-executive director of Murray Irrigation Limited, and Treasurer of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW. Robyn is a former non-executive director of Rural Bank Ltd, Beef CRC Limited, and UrbanGrowth (a NSW state-owned corporation responsible for urban land development). Ms Clubb is a resident of New South Wales.

Robyn will join as a member of each of the Audit, Risk and Compliance, Remuneration and Human Resources and Work Health and Safety Committees.
