Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

Futuris Corporation Limited (“Futuris”) Chairman Mr S Gerlach announced the appointment by the Board of Mr Hutch Ranck as a new non-executive Director of the Company effective 24 June 2008.

Mr Gerlach said Mr Ranck brings to Futuris the skills and experience gathered over a long and distinguished career with DuPont Australia where he has held senior management positions in Australia and overseas in finance, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and agricultural products culminating in his present appointment as Managing Director of DuPont Australia & New Zealand in 1999.

Mr Ranck is currently Chair of the BCA Education, Skills and Innovation Taskforce and a director of the Australian Bush Heritage Foundation.

Mr Gerlach said Mr Ranck’s appointment also reflected the process of Board renewal which is being undertaken by the Board.
