Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

Further to the announcement made on 1 October 2015, Drax confirms that Will Gardiner joined the Company as Finance Director on 16 November 2015 as planned.

Will Gardiner has notified the Company that on 16 November 2015 he purchased 21,168 ordinary shares in Drax at a price of 233.7361pence per share.

The shares are to be registered in his own name and the total number of ordinary shares in which Will Gardiner has an interest following this acquisition is 21,168.

The notification is in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R and the transaction was conducted in London and was in respect of ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each in the share capital of the Company of which there were 406,317,162 shares in issue at the time of the dealing.
