Drax advises that Charles Berry, the Chairman and a non-executive director of the Company, is to relinquish one of his other plc board commitments. He will retire by rotation at the Annual General Meeting of Impax Environmental Markets plc to be held on 21 May 2013 and will not stand for re-election. Impax Environmental Markets plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
