This is a press release by Roto Smeets Group NV with registered office at Deventer ("Roto Smeets Group") pursuant to artikle 5:25i, second paragraph, in combination with article 5:53, first paragraph of the Dutch Act on Financial Supervision (Wet financieel toezicht).

Roto Smeets Group has taken notice of the press release of its shareholder Riva Investments B.V. ("Riva") announcing that Riva has started to prepare a voluntary public offer for all issued shares of Roto Smeets Group. Roto Smeets Group will enter into further discussions with Riva in order to learn more about this intention of Riva.
