Roto*Smeets*Group*announces*proposed*management*changes*within*its*divisions

In!order!to!make!the!various!business!units!within!the Roto!Smeets!Group!(RSG)!more! competitive,!the!Board!submitted!a!number!of!proposals!to!the!Central!Works!Council!for!its! advice!last!year.!As!reported!in!the!RSG!business!update!of!30!October!2013,!these!proposals!are! not!only!intended!to!further!improve!the!cost!structure!but!also!to!increase!the!entrepreneurial! spirit!of!the!businesses!units.

Closer!consideration!of!the!consequences!of!restructuring!the!Roto!Smeets!and!Senefelder!Groep! divisions!into!a!Publishing division,!located!in Doetinchem!and Weert,!and!a Commercial!Print division, located!in Deventer!and EttenMLeur,!has!resulted!in!supplementary proposals!which!will! be!submitted!to!the!Central!Works!Council!in!early!March.!However,!both Maarten!Coerman,!the! current!managing!director!of!Roto!Smeets,!and!RSG's!management!board!have!already!jointly! reached!the!conclusion!that!the!new!organisational!structure!will!not!offer!a!role!for!Maarten! Coerman sufficiently!in!line!with!his!competences. Therefore,!Maarten!Coerman!has!decided!to! focus!his!full!attention!on!pursuing!a!future!outside!of!RSG!as!of!1!March!2014.

RSG!proposes!to!name!Frans!Boelens,!current plant manager!of!Roto!Smeets!Weert, and Ronald!van!Rossum,!managing director of Senefelder!Misset,!as!heads!of!the!Commercial!Print! and Publishing!divisions!respectively.
