Uwe E. Flach has been appointed by court as new member of the supervisory
board of Deutsche Wohnen AG, effective 16 January 2008. Mr. Flach has been
working with Oaktree GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, as Senior Advisor since early
2004. Before joining Oaktree, Mr. Flach worked in the banking sector and
was member of the management board of DZ Bank until 31 December 2003. The
investment funds advised by Oaktree are the largest shareholders in
Deutsche Wohnen AG, with a stake of 24.2 percent. Oaktree is already
represented on the supervisory board of Deutsche Wohnen AG by the chairman
of the supervisory board, Mr. Hermann T. Dambach, managing director of
Oaktree GmbH. Mr. Flach replaces Mr. Hans Werner Jacob, who retired from
the position of member of the company's supervisory board effective 03
January 2008.
