Today, 30 August 2007, and effective from 01 September 2007, the
Supervisory Board of Deutsche Wohnen AG has appointed Mr. Michael Zahn for
three years as member of the Management Board, responsible for business
operations. Up to now Mr. Zahn was the sole managing director of GEHAG
GmbH, Berlin, the company in which Deutsche Wohnen AG indirectly acquired
an interest of approximately 85 percent (July 2007). With this formal
appointment the Supervisory Board followed the declaration of intent given
on 20 July 2007 (ad hoc announcement as of 20 July 2007).
