The present Chairman of the Management Board Andreas Lehner, will leave the
company with effect from October 31, 2007 and has therefore resigned from
his current position as member of the management board. The employment
contract has been terminated by mutual agreement.

As Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Lehner successfully accomplished
the deconsolidation of Deutsche Wohnen AG from Deutsche Bank and was
responsible for the company’s listing at the official market of the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The goal of strategic growth has recently been initiated by the acquisition
of the GEHAG Group. Going forward, the Supervisory Board will assign the
necessary integration and consolidation tasks to the new management team.

Mr. Lehner, who has been the chairman of the company’s management board
since 2004, will also standby Deutsche Wohnen AG regarding questions of
strategic growth in future. The supervisory board thanks Andreas Lehner for
his successful work in terms of Deutsche Wohnen AG.
