Subject: Intimation pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 — Impact of Ongoing Geopolitical Situation and consequent Government Directives on Export Orders and Domestic Customer Supply
Dear Sir / Madam,
We write to you in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The purpose of this intimation is to keep our shareholders and the Exchange(s) informed of certain developments that have a bearing on our export operations and domestic supply commitments in the near term.
As is widely known, the military conflict that broke out in West Asia in late February 2026 has led to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world's most critical maritime passages. The closure of this route has set off a chain of consequences that extend well beyond the immediate region, affecting shipping schedules, freight logistics, and energy supply chains across a large part of the world. Indian industry, as an integrated participant in global trade, has not been insulated from these effects.
For DEE Development Engineers, the immediate consequence has been on our export orders to customers in the West Asia region. Certain shipments that were scheduled for execution in the near term are now at risk of delay or non-fulfilment — a situation that falls squarely within the ambit of Force Majeure under the terms of our export contracts. We have communicated formally with our affected overseas buyers in this regard and are working closely with them through this period.
There is a second and equally important dimension to this disclosure. In response to the energy supply constraints arising from the geopolitical situation, the Government of India has acted swiftly and in the broader national interest by invoking the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and notifying the Natural Gas (Supply Regulation) Order, 2026. Under this framework, the supply of LPG and natural gas to industrial and commercial consumers has been regulated, with supplies capped at 80% (and fertilizer plants at 70%) of contracted volumes, prioritising availability for households and essential

services. We recognise this as a necessary and well-considered response to an extraordinary situation, and the DEE is fully supportive of and compliant with these directives. The practical consequence for us, however, is that the supply to certain domestic clients of the DEE will also see a near-term impact.
Taken together, these developments are expected to have a limited bearing on the DEE's overall performance for the current period. Our order book is healthy, our manufacturing capabilities remain fully intact, and our financial position is stable. We view these as transient pressures arising from circumstances that are entirely external and beyond the control of any individual enterprise.
The management of DEE is engaged closely with the situation on a day-to-day basis and is taking all appropriate steps to manage its obligations to customers, counterparties, and other stakeholders responsibly. We will continue to assess the evolving landscape and are committed to updating the Exchange(s) and our shareholders as and when further material developments warrant.
This intimation is being made on a voluntary and proactive basis, consistent with the DEE's longstanding commitment to transparent, timely, and responsible communication with all its stakeholders.
Yours faithfully,
For DEE Development Engineers Limited
