Data[#] 3 anticipates full year to be in line with expectations

EBIT expected to be up approximately 9% on previous year

BRISBANE, Wednesday 15[th] July 2009. Data[#] 3 Limited (ASX: DTL), an information and communication technology solutions company, today announced that results for the 2009 financial year were expected to be at least in line with general analyst forecasts.

• Total revenue of approximately $530M expected for FY2009

• EBIT of approximately $13.2M forecast for FY2009, up 9% on previous year

• • Another record full-year result for the company

Subject to year-end audit, revenues of approximately $530M and EBIT of approximately $13.2M are expected for the year ended 30[th] June 2009. This constitutes another record full year result for the company.

Revenue for the first half of 2009 was $230M, and EBIT was $5.4M. Revenue for the full 2008 financial year was $364M, and EBIT was $12.1M.

Managing Director John Grant said the second half performance had exceeded earlier guidance.

“This result is exceptional, especially given market conditions” Mr Grant said. “At the half year we expected a more difficult second half and advised that our objective was to at least equal the earnings result of the previous year. We are delighted that, while conditions did deteriorate, we’ve managed a particularly strong finish to the year. The auditors still have to complete their review but we anticipate our full year profit after tax will be up by around 8% on the previous corresponding period.”

The board intends to announce the audited full year results and the final dividend on 24[th] August 2009.

Chairman Richard Anderson commented that “Subject only to finalizing the result and completing the audit we intend to maintain our established dividend payment practice.”
