Data[#] 3 upgrades market advice and confirms yet

another record first half result

Profit before tax expected to be at least 20% up on previous first half

BRISBANE, Monday 21[st] January 2008. The Board of Directors of Data[#] 3 Limited (ASX:DTL) today announced that the profit for the first half of 2007/08 is estimated to be ahead of previous guidance. The Board indicated at the AGM on 2[nd] November 2007 that the first quarter was 10% ahead of the previous corresponding period and that the company was on track to exceed the previous first half result.

While yet to be finalised and reviewed by the company’s auditors, an estimated profit before tax of at least $5.2M is expected for the first half of 2007/08. This is an increase of approximately 20% on the exceptional result of the previous first half.

The Board indicated its intention to continue dividend payout rates similar to those of the previous year and will announce the final first half results and the interim dividend on 22[nd] February 2008.
