Data[#] 3 board succession planning update

BRISBANE, Monday 29 August 2016 : Australian business technology solutions leader Data[#] 3 Limited (ASX: DTL) today announced changes to the structure of the board and the audit and risk committee as part of its ongoing succession planning and renewal program.

Non-Executive Director retirement

Non-executive director Ian Johnston has announced his intention to retire from the board after nine years of dedicated service, effective at the end of September 2016. Ian was appointed to the board in 2007, and has also served as Chairman of the audit and risk committee since 2013.

The board intends to appoint a new non-executive director as a replacement for Ian in the coming months.

New Audit and Risk Committee Chairman

The board has appointed Leanne Muller as the Chairman of Data[#] 3’s audit and risk committee, effective today.

Leanne joined the Data[#] 3 board in February 2016 and has extensive experience in senior corporate financial management roles, as well as having worked in professional advisory services for antecedent firms of PwC and KPMG. Leanne is also on the boards of QInsure Limited and Guide Dogs Queensland, and chairs the audit committee for QInsure and the audit and risk committee for Guide Dogs Queensland.

Data[#] 3’s Chairman Richard Anderson said: “Ian has made a tremendous contribution to the board and we wish him well in his future endeavours. Leanne is the ideal candidate to take over from Ian as Chairman of our audit and risk committee and we are delighted to announce that appointment.”
