Non-executive director retires

Howard Stack announces his retirement from the

Data^#3 Board

BRISBANE, 23rd December 2005. The Board of Directors of Data^#3 Limited (ASX: DTL) today announced that non-executive director Howard Stack had retired from the Data*3 Board.

Mr Stack was appointed to the Board as Chairman prior to Data*3's listing in December 1997. In November 2000 he stepped down as Chairman but continued as a non-executive director.

"Its never easy stepping away from an association that has lasted as long as this one has with Data*3, but I think the time is right for me personally, and right for the company," he said. "It's is always best to go when everything is travelling well, and when the future looks bright, and that is Data^#3 today."

"Whilst we respect Howard's decision we are very disappointed to see him go. His judgement, his acute sense of what is right for the company and its customers, employees and shareholders has been invaluable. His input has contributed significantly to the excellent performance and financial strength of Data*3. His experience will be greatly missed," Chairman Richard Anderson commented. "The composition of the Board will be reviewed to ensure that the appropriate mix of skills and experience continues to be available to quide the company in its ongoing development."
