CPT Global Limited Appoints a New Northern Region General Manager

Mr. Gerry Tuddenham, Managing Director of CPT Global Limited (CPT) today announced the appointment of Mr. Steve Lane to the position of General Manager Northern Region, having responsibility for the NSW and Queensland markets.

A former executive at CM Capital Investments, DMR Consulting and Lane Telecommunications, Steve will take up his position at CPT on March 7[th] 2011.

Steve commenced his professional career at Telstra as an engineer, heavily involved in computer controlled communication technologies. In 1981 Steve set up Lane Telecommunications, a telecommunications consulting business of which he was CEO for many years prior to selling in 1996. In 1996 he joined DMR Consulting where he performed various senior executive roles in Sydney and Brisbane, finally taking on the role of Queensland State Manager where he was instrumental in growing the business from 10 to 120 staff over a short timeframe. Steve’s most recent role has been with CM Capital Investments, a venture capital company, where he was the senior partner responsible for telecommunications, IT and cleantech investments.
