Brief Profile	Mr. Anil Wadhwa is an Ex- Member of the Indian Foreign Services.He has served as Indian Ambassador to Poland, Lithuania, Sultanateof Oman, Thailand, Italy and San Marino. He has also served as aPermanent Representative of India to the Rome based UNAgencies—FAOJFAD and WFP.He was Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs, NewDelhi from 2014-2016, looking after South-East Asia, Australasiaand Pacific, Gulf and West Asian regions. He was also the leader ofthe Senior officials to all meetings of ASEAN, ASEM, ACD, ArabLeague, Mekong- Ganga Cooperation, ARF and East Asia Summit.From 1989-2000, he attended meetings of the First Committee inUNDC in New York first as a Delegate of India and later asrepresentative of the OPCW, where he worked as the Head of theMedia and Public Affairs Branch and subsequently the GovernmentRelations and Political Affairs Branch.
