RESIGNATION OF DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”) announces that the Company has received the written resignation of Mr. Feng Xingguo (“ Mr. Feng ”) as the deputy general manager of the Company with effect from 16 August 2017 due to retirement. Following the resignation, Mr. Feng will cease to hold any position in the Company.

Mr. Feng has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no other matters in relation to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Feng for his contribution to the Company during his tenure of service.

The Board as at the date of this announcement comprises Ms. Sun Yueying, Mr. Wang Daxiong, Mr. Liu Chong and Mr. Xu Hui, being executive directors, Mr. Feng Boming, Mr. Huang Jian and Mr. Chen Dong, being non-executive directors, and Mr. Cai Hongping, Ms. Hai Chi Yuet and Mr. Graeme Jack, being independent non-executive directors.
