TRADING HALT

The securities of Core Exploration Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 19 February 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Core Exploration Ltd ( Core ) (ASX: CXO and CXOOA) requests a trading halt to be placed on its securities from the commencement of trading on Wednesday 17 February 2016.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises that:

• (a) the trading halt is requested pending the release of an announcement in relation to a share placement;

• (b) the Company requests that securities remain in trading halt until the earlier of the announcement to the market or the commencement of trade on Friday, 19 February 2016; and

• (c) the Company is not aware of any reasons why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
