ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

25 May 2017

CCP COMPLETES PLACEMENT

Key highlights:

  • Oversubscribed placement to sophisticated investors to raise $0.52 million

  • Founders of Telecommunications companies Vocus and Amcom join CCP register

  • Placement priced at a 7% discount to 30 day VWAP and a 15% discount to last trading day

Placement

Further to this morning’s announcement, CCP is pleased to announce it has completed the placement of 30,523,273 shares at $0.017 per share to raise $518,895 from sophisticated investors.

The placement, which was corner-stoned by James Spenceley and Tony Grist who are two of Australian’s most successful Technology and Telecom entrepreneurs generated strong interest and ended up oversubscribed.

James Spenceley, the founder and former CEO of Vocus Limited and Tony Grist, the former co-founder and Chairman of Amcom Telecommunications Limited have both joined the register of CCP and are excited by the opportunity for the business ahead.

“The Internet of Things (IoT) space is one of the most exciting investment options in the market today and still at an incredibly early stage. For Tony and I, it is about finding the team that has the skills and ability to prosecute the opportunity that IoT presents. CCP has a talented team and importantly has skills in both hardware and software engineering, this separates them from most and will allow them to broaden their product range and application” said incoming shareholder James Spenceley.

Leath Nicholson CCP Chairman commented: “ Having James and Tony recognise and support our exciting business opportunity reinforces our belief that we can successfully build CCP into a significant global company in the IoT sector. It will be of great benefit to know we can call upon their experience and wisdom as we journey this path together.”

The net proceeds of the Placement will be used to fund business development and general working capital.
