Appointment of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

MELBOURNE, Australia,31 March 2011: Agenix Limited (ASX: AGX) today announced the appointment of Mr Gary Taylor as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with immediate effect.

Mr Taylor is a qualified accountant with strong experience in early stage, international highgrowth businesses. He brings over 30 years entrepreneurial experience working in Asia, USA, Australia and Europe.

Agenix Executive Chairman Nicholas Weston said, “Gary’s appointment significantly enhances the strength and depth of our senior management team and his role will be fundamental to our long-term commercial objectives in the high growth market of China.”

“His experience will be invaluable as we scale up our drug discovery and manufacturing operations and actively seek to partner and license our core expertise and intellectual property with established global pharmaceutical companies,” Mr Weston said.

Mr Taylor will be based in Melbourne and will report directly to Executive Chairman Nicholas Weston. He was previously head of a private national corporate and financial consulting firm Justleigh Holdings. Mr Taylor replaces Mr Jeffrey Luckins and Mr Graeme Tyshing who held the positions of Company Secretary and CFO respectively.
