Subject:	Computershare acquires Administar Services Group LLC

Computershare Limited ( ASX:CPU ) today announces the purchase of Administar Services Group LLC in the United States. The maximum consideration payable is USD32 million, subject to certain performance hurdles being satisfied, whilst revenues are approximately USD9 million per annum. The transaction will not have a material impact on earnings per share in FY08.

Administar provides administration services related to the settlement of securities and consumer class action litigation as well as Chapter 11 bankruptcy litigation. It has developed unique web-based claims administration software to meet the varying needs of Chapter 11 proceedings and allow class action professionals access to case information via the internet.

Class action and bankruptcy administration services require printing and other communications capability, participant and/or shareholder identification and paying agent facilities, all core competencies of the Computershare Group. These competencies and Computershare’s large scale infrastructure will support the continued growth of the Administar offering. This acquisition also provides a platform for Computershare to grow the class action business in other regions around the globe where litigation activity continues to increase.
