Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU) today announces that Sandy Murdoch will not be standing for re-election and will therefore be leaving the Board of Computershare following the company’s AGM to be held on Wednesday, 14 November 2007. Sandy was Chairman of Computershare from its listing on the ASX in 1994 up until the appointment of Chris Morris as Executive Chairman in November 2006. Mr Morris thanked Sandy for his enormous contribution to Computershare’s success and said that his wealth of knowledge and wise counsel would be missed by his fellow Board members as well as Computershare’s senior executives with whom Sandy had frequently engaged over the years.
