Computershare Limited ( ASX:CPU ) today announces the recent completion of the acquisition of the transfer agency business of UMB Bank (UMB) based in Kansas City, USA. Consideration was paid in cash, the acquisition price totalling USD8.86m. The impact on Earnings is not expected to be material.
UMB have over 100 clients, with this acquisition enhancing Computershare’s presence in the mid-west region of the USA, continuing the Company’s strategy of consolidation in this market. Client migrations will take place over the next several months.
