At the same time Mr Myer and Professor Mendelsohn lead the raising of over $170 million towards the $200 million cost of two new neuroscience research buildings, one at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus and the other at the Austin Hospital. At these two new facilities (due to be complete in 2011) the Florey Neuroscience Institutes will be co-located with the Mental Health Research Institute and the majority of the University of Melbourne’s neuroscientists.
