YPB Group lodges three next generation Scanner Patents

Upon grant, patents in China are valid for 20 years for Invention Patents and 10 years for Utility Model Patents.
Anti-counterfeiting technology Company YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) (YPB, the Company) is pleased to announce that it has lodged patent applications for its anti-counterfeit scanner product with the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of the Peoples Republic of China (PRC).
YPB advises that SIPO has accepted the following three patent applications:

Invention Patent: Anti-counterfeit marker identity device, identity method, article identification system and method. Application #: 201510071159.7

Invention Patent: A Light Emitting Substance Detection Device and Article Identification System. Application #: 201510069833.8

Utility Model Patent: A Light Emitting Substance Detection Device and Article Identification System. Application #: 201520095146.9
The normal full cycle for Patents in China is three years for Invention Patents and one year for Utility Model Patents.
YPB has received official application receipts from SIPO for the three patents. The Patents will be viewed when they progress to the next stage in the process, in order to protect the inventions. Once granted, Patent approval validity in China is for 20 years for Invention Patents and 10 years for Utility Model Patent.
