YPB Group enters Supply Contract for anti-counterfeit printing solutions to Guangdong National Tax Bureau

Key points:

• YPB Group has entered a 3 year contract for the supply of its invisible tracer and scanners with Guangzhou Renmin Printing for the protection of tax invoices (Fapiao’s) for Guangdong National Tax Bureau.

• YPB Group anti-counterfeit solution will be applied to approximately 14 Million Fapiao’s in the 1[st] year of the contract.

• YPB Group’s anti-counterfeit solution was selected by the Guangdong National Tax Bureau as one of the key technology solutions for this new contract.

The Board of Anti-counterfeiting technology Company YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) (YPB, the Company) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Supply Ccontract with Guangzhou Renmin Printing Co. Ltd of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to supply YPB anti-counterfeit tracer technology to the Guangdong National Tax Bureau.

Under the contract, YPB will provide its anti-counterfeit tracer and scanner products technology to fapiaos used solely by the Guangdong National Tax Bureau to verify invoices and protect Government revenues against counterfeiting. Fapiaos are official tax invoices used in China.

The contract is a three year supply contract for YPB’s anti-counterfeit inks to be used in the printing of approximately 14 million fapiaos, in the first year of the contract. The contract was awarded to YPB after Guangzhou Renmin won a successful bid under tender conditions. Guangdong is a Province with a population of over 100 million, located in the south east of China. The National Tax Bureau requires many hundreds of million fapiaos to be printed every year. As such, this represents a significant milestone for YPB.

Guangzhou Renmin Printing Co. Ltd. is a State Owned Enterprise and a subsidiary of Guangzhou Packaging & Printing Group Co. Ltd. It holds national security printing licenses for the production of anti-counterfeit printing solutions. Its customers include, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, JD.com, Peoples Insurance Company of China (PICC), Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Guangdong Municipal Public Security Bureau.
