YPB Director announcement

- Dr. Geoff Raby not to stand for re-election as non-executive Director at next AGM – to continue in consultant role with YPB

The Board of YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) wishes to announce that Dr Geoff Raby has advised of his intention not to stand for re-election as a non-executive independent director of the company at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, but rather will continue to support YPB as a consultant as required in assisting YPB specifically in the China market.

Dr Raby has been a director of the company since it was first listed on the ASX in 2014.

Dr Raby said: “I have been delighted to be part of the foundation of YPB, now a worldleading anti-counterfeiting company, and to have been able to assist in its growth and the expansion of its international footprint. YPB is now entering an exciting new phase with its complete-protection solutions and multi-market businesses and it is with regret, due to my commitments in other areas that I would not be able to devote sufficient time to the important work of the Board as a director. I do, however, look forward to being able to support the company’s further development in China where appropriate. I wish the company every success and acknowledge the tremendous contribution of our founder and Executive Chairman, John Houston and its talented Board.”

YPB Executive Chairman John Houston said: “I have been honoured to have Dr Raby by my side in building YPB to this stage and I am delighted that he will be able to devote time to assisting us strategically in China in his role as consultant. The Board and I completely understand and support Dr Raby’s decision.
